Current Position Available TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER Date Posted: May 22, 2012 Title: Technical Sales Engineer - Collaboration Applications Category: Technical Support & Development / Sales & Marketing Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada Type: Full Time Positions Available: 1 Primary Duties:• Lead technical resource to our Collaboration Apps ( Unified communications) sales team and will articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users • This is a hands-on role involving all stages from definition, through installation/configuration and training of users involved in the evaluation process • Actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our technology products • Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process • Direct, organize, and lead customer implementation projects • Deliver product demonstrations to customers and at field events such as conferences and trade shows • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • Cisco CCNP and CCNA Voice designation is highly desirable • 3-5+ years relevant experience in systems administration, pre-sales or related field • Expertise in network and unified communications • Strong understanding of networking and IP based communications technologies • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches • Ability to handle project management responsibilities for implementation of company related solutions • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports • Ability to relate to a wide range of technical staff and managers in customer environments Personal Attributes: • Driven to pursue results with a positive attitude and ability to build upon opportunities • You are curious, positive and accountable • Team player with collaborative attitude, successful relationships with peers, and commitment to enterprise success • Able to maintain focus and effectively cope with multiple objectives and issues in a complex environment Location: • Head Office is located at 5915 Airport Road, Mississauga, ON, Canada.
