Integrations
SOLGENIA FACSYS INTEGRATIONS & CONNECTORS Integrating the Facsys Fax / Routing Gateway with document delivery offerings provide market leading solutions. This enables organizations of all sizes to deliver application and user-generated documents via fax, email, or over the Internet.

By integrating the Facsys Fax/Routing Gateway with the business applications already in use, organizations of all sizes can:

Realize a substantial Return on Investment (ROI)
Accelerate business cycles
Leverage existing IT resources
Support regulatory compliance efforts
Safeguard information security and privacy
Gain a competitive edge and enhance customer service
Eliminate fax machines and inefficient manual document delivery and receipt
Streamline business processes and improve productivity

For custom applications, join the programmers who use the Facsys Fax / Routing Gateway AFM/SDK across the globe, and Fax Enable Your World®!

WHY INTEGRATE? Fax is particularly indispensable when it comes to processes that involve the world beyond the enterprise network. Fax is often the medium of choice for such communications because:

There is no e-mail address available for the specific recipient
The recipient does not have a computer
The two parties either cannot or do not want to deal with file format issues
A fax image cannot be altered and is therefore a more secure message medium
The time-stamp and authentication that fax provides is a requirement of the process
A hard copy is often more convenient than digital data
Faxes are easy to annotate and share with others
With Facsys, you can fax every document you can print, giving you the ability to easily distribute your information

Perhaps one of the most pressing issues for IT departments today is the integration of disparate systems - databases, workflow, desktop productivity applications, voice, email, and fax. In a period where competitive pressures require that corporations do "more with less", these integration strategies are essential for providing high returns on technology investments.

WITH FACSYS, YOU CAN... • Print-to-Fax: the Facsys Desktop Client enables users to transmit faxes directly to a printer.
• Fax to and from E-mail: using Exchange, Notes, Groupwise and/or SMTP, users can e-mail a message with an attachment that gets converted to a fax image and sent directly from their mail system. Users can receive faxes directly to their inbox using DID or DNIS routing. Some configuration and rendering tools are required on the Facsys server to render *.PDF, *.DOC and *.XLS documents.
• Fax Enable Applications using Active Fax Messaging: via the ActiveX / COM model, writing custom fax enabled applications is made easier than ever. At the same time, developers have access to a wider range of Facsys features than ever before.
• Fax Enable Applications using embedded codes.

Facsys Certifications for Avaya Aura™ Communications Manager & IP Office 5
Facsys Certifications for Avaya Aura Communications Manager and IP Office 5 The Facsys Fax Messaging Suite of Products is a complete family of solutions that includes the Facsys EZ appliance and the Facsys Foundation and Facsys Enterprise software packages.

By adding the Facsys fax messaging solution, Avaya customers can leverage their Avaya Aura Communication Manager and/or Avaya IP Office (Release 5) investment to provide fax messaging services for a range of office requirements. Whether using a desktop, e-mail/web client, a network-connected MFP, or Facsys-enabled office applications, all fax calls are routed though a common server platform. Incoming fax calls arrive through the same telecom provisioned circuits used for voice traffic to the Avaya Aura Communication Manager and/or Avaya IP Office platform and are routed directly to the Facsys fax server where a number of distribution options such as desktop receipt, e-mail receipt, automatic printing, archiving and document management systems integration are supported. Outbound messages, regardless of their origin, are sent by the Facsys server using telecom connections on the Avaya Aura Communication Manager and/or Avaya IP Office platform.

Avaya users reduce operating costs by eliminating inefficient, single-purpose fax machines from their environments. User productivity is increased by removing the requirement to print documents, deposit them in a fax machine and wait for confirmations. Corporate compliance initiatives are enhanced by the new ability to fully track fax messages - including the content.
Facsys Connector for eCopy™ ShareScan OP®
Facsys Connector for eCopy ShareScan OP The Facsys Connector for eCopy ShareScan OP enables users to easily fax paper documents from a copier or document scanner.

The Facsys Connector for eCopy ShareScan OP presents a thorough solution for network fax servers. Never before has faxing paper documents been completed with such ease, using a copier or scanner as the entrance point for paper-based document transmissions.

The eCopy solution can be viewed as a gateway to any network, or to the Internet, from a copying or scanning device. Facsys Connector for SAP® Systems
Facsys Connector for SAP Systems The Facsys Gateway for SAP Systems fax enables SAP systems by providing a conduit between the SAP system and the fax server. F.A.S.T. technicians have installed numerous systems since 1998 and offer this unique expertise to the channel. Facsys Connector for Ricoh ESA-Enabled MFPs
Facsys Connector for Ricoh ESA-Enabled MFPs The Facsys Connector Ricoh ESA-enabled MFPs fully integrates with select Ricoh Aficio-series MFPs, enabling users to transmit and print incoming faxes directly from the touch screens of these devices, fully leveraging the inherent print functions of a Ricoh MFP.

The secure and intuitive interface allows users to create new Facsys fax messages where they can define outgoing fax message properties such as recipients, subject, cover page, attachments and comments.

Recipient destinations can be input directly as fax numbers or through the use of Facsys user-specific phone books.

Attachments can be added to an outgoing Facsys fax message using one of three methods: (1) from a Facsys user's Inbox, (2) from a directory on the local network, or (3) scanned from the Ricoh ESA-enabled device.

From the touch screen, users may also access their individual Facsys Inbox, where they can forward existing fax messages or print them directly to the Ricoh MFP.

BENEFITS Cost Savings
Cost reductions from the elimination of extra hardware such as fax machines and fax lines.

Accessibility & Efficiency
Users no longer have to wait at the MFP device for confirmation of their fax transmission - Facsys will send the notification directly to the user's desktop.

Users can resend or redirect failed message transmissions directly from the desktop.

Users have three distinct ways to attach multiple documents through the Ricoh ESA-enabled MFP:
Scan from device
Attach from network (location)
Forward from (Facsys) Inbox

Privacy & Security
No more sensitive faxes being forgotten in the print tray! Now users can access their Facsys Inbox directly from the touch screen of the Ricoh ESA-enabled MFP and print the document when they are there to receive it.

Auditing & Compliance
Using the Facsys Connector ensures that all transmissions are captured and recorded, providing necessary details and audit logs, while storing the sent or received fax for retrieval (if required).
